Liqua-Grow Turf is seeking an experienced and dependable Lawn Care Specialist to join our growing team in Westminster, MD. Since 1978, we have provided professional lawn care and pest control services throughout Carroll, Howard, Frederick, and Baltimore Counties. As a family-owned and operated company, we take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, quality workmanship, and personalized lawn care solutions.
We are looking for a motivated professional with at least 2 years of experience in lawn care or related turf management services who is passionate about creating healthy, beautiful lawns and delivering excellent service to customers.
Position Overview
The Lawn Care Specialist will perform lawn treatment applications, evaluate turf conditions, communicate with customers, and help maintain the high standards that have made Liqua-Grow Turf a trusted name in the community for over 46 years.
Responsibilities
- Apply lawn care treatments including fertilization, weed control, grub preventative, fungicides and insect control
- Diagnose lawn issues related to weeds, pests, insects, and turf disease
- Operate lawn care equipment and maintain tools safely and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate treatment recommendations
- Complete service documentation accurately and professionally
- Follow all safety guidelines and Maryland pesticide application regulations
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional lawn care, landscaping, or turf management experience required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of lawn fertilization, weed control, and turf maintenance practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Maryland Turf & Weed license preferred, or willingness to obtain certification
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range of $20–$40 per hour includes base hourly pay plus daily production bonuses
- Yearly production bonus in addition to the daily bonus
