Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Resident Motel Manager to oversee daily operations at our hospitality property. This pivotal role combines leadership, guest relations, and operational management to ensure an exceptional experience for all visitors. As the resident manager, you will serve as the face of the property, fostering a welcoming environment while maintaining high standards of service, safety, and efficiency. Your proactive approach will drive revenue growth, uphold brand reputation, and create a positive atmosphere for both guests and staff. This is a live-in position that requires a dedicated individual (or couple) to provide exceptional guest service while maintaining the physical integrity of the property. Lodging is included in the package. The ideal candidate is a "jack-of-all-trades" who enjoys interacting with people and takes pride in keeping a facility running smoothly.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all front desk activities, including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette to ensure smooth guest interactions
- Oversee guest services and guest relations to deliver memorable hospitality experiences that exceed expectations
- Manage hotel operations including housekeeping, maintenance, and security to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Handle budgeting responsibilities by monitoring expenses, revenue management, and implementing cost-control measures
- Lead and supervise staff members, providing training in hospitality management, human resources practices, and customer service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and licensing requirements across all departments
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or hotel management industry
- Strong background in hotel operations with knowledge of revenue management strategies
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Familiarity with front desk procedures, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette
- Experience in budgeting, human resources management, and night audit procedures is preferred
