Job description:
Direct Hire Solutions is hiring an experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver for a full-time position with a leading truss manufacturing company in Uxbridge, MA. This role is ideal for drivers with experience hauling roof trusses, lumber, or oversized building materials who are safety-focused and reliable.
Pay: $35.00–$40.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM until completion; occasional Saturdays
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL Class A truck to transport and deliver roof trusses and building materials
- Secure oversized loads in compliance with DOT regulations and load securement standards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Navigate efficiently to job sites across MA and surrounding areas
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Clean driving record (MVR)
- Experience with flatbed, truss, or oversized load hauling preferred
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery schedules
- Commitment to maintaining a strong safety record
