Comfort Suites Grand Prairie is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel operating safely and efficiently. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining hotel facilities while taking pride in creating a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities
- Complete guest room maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Repair or replace fixtures, furniture, lighting, and equipment as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical equipment.
- Maintain the appearance and functionality of the hotel's interior and exterior.
- Assist with painting, drywall repairs, caulking, and minor remodeling projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders.
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Report major repair needs to hotel management.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel maintenance, apartment maintenance, or general building maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and general repairs.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
- Friendly, professional attitude when interacting with guests and coworkers.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
