Maintenance Technician – Be the Hero Behind the Scenes!
Do you love fixing things, solving problems, and keeping everything running like clockwork? We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician who takes pride in making a difference every day. What You'll Do
As our Maintenance Technician, you'll be the go-to expert who keeps our hotel operating at its best. From repairing equipment to ensuring guest comfort and safety, your work makes every stay a great one.
Your Daily Adventures Include:
- Keeping guest rooms, public spaces, and building systems in excellent condition.
- Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, kitchen, laundry, pool, and life safety systems.
- Responding quickly to maintenance requests with friendly, professional service.
- Performing preventative maintenance to stop problems before they happen.
- Helping maintain building security, key control, and life safety systems.
- Partnering with hotel leadership to communicate building needs and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinating and overseeing outside contractors when specialized work is needed.
- Following all company policies and safety regulations while maintaining a clean, safe environment for guests, team members, and vendors.
- Delivering exceptional guest service because every repair helps create a memorable stay.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills—you enjoy working with people as much as working with tools.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with commercial maintenance systems is a plus, including:
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Boilers and chillers
- Refrigeration
- Water softeners
- Knowledge of OSHA and general workplace safety practices is preferred.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
