Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Assist customers with product demos and upselling to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked and organized
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing back stock, and participating in regular stock counts
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding store operations, customer needs, and sales goals
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and balancing registers
- Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the store
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies is beneficial
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including weekends
