Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of the food
- Collaborate with the catering team to plan and execute menus for events
- Work in collaboration with the dietary department to meet specific dietary requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Assist in menu planning and development
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role within the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong culinary skills and ability to prepare a variety of dishes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
