We are seeking an experienced NOC (Network Operations Center) Manager to lead and manage the performance, configuration, and availability of key IT infrastructure systems. This role includes ownership of remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools, cloud hosting platforms, firewalls, antivirus systems, and patch management tools. The ideal candidate will enforce ITIL-based best practices, oversee documentation, budgeting, staffing, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction and SLA adherence. Responsibilities also include providing technical leadership to the NOC team, supporting internal and external desktop environments, maintaining backup/disaster recovery systems, tuning monitoring tools, and coordinating with field engineers and vendors. Occasional after-hours work may be required for maintenance and critical issues.
Candidates must have a degree in a computer-related field and at least five years of NOC experience, including two years in a leadership role. Strong MSP (Managed Services Provider) experience is strongly preferred. Candidates should have expert knowledge in Windows Server, Microsoft AD, Azure, Office 365, Cisco technologies, virtualization platforms (Hyper-V/VMware), and network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.). Solid team management, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to perform root cause analysis and manage network performance. Preferred certifications include MCSE, Azure Administrator Associate, CCNA, CCNP, Security+, and Network+.
