The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Meet timely production goals and follow all standards of food manufacturing.
- Strive to constantly improve processes and yields.
- Ensure 100% accuracy of packaging and labeling.
- Responsible for production scheduling and operations. Evaluate sales and demand and ensure accuracy of production numbers compared to demand.

Interview, hire, train and review and discipline production department employees.
- Work closely with the Quality Manager to ensure compliance with all regulatory and 3rd party auditing agencies.

Operate department within a prepared budget.
- Strive to control waste of packaging materials, ingredients and labor hours.
- Recommend process improvements and procurement of new or replacement machinery and participate in new product development team.

Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

Two years of experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools

Advanced skills in MS Office

Organizational and leadership abilities

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Problem-solving skills

High School Diploma; degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage

Knowledge of HACCP and SQF is a plus
