Store Supervisor / Ice Cream Cake Decorator

Do you have a passion for customer service, creativity, and leadership? Baskin-Robbins is looking for an energetic, dependable Store Supervisor / Ice Cream Cake Decorator to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to combine leadership with artistic creativity while helping create memorable experiences for our guests.
As a Store Supervisor, you'll help oversee daily operations, lead by example, and provide outstanding customer service. As our Cake Decorator, you'll design and create custom ice cream cakes that become the centerpiece of birthdays, graduations, weddings, holidays, and other special celebrations. This is a hands-on position where you'll also serve guests, scoop ice cream, prepare frozen treats, and help create the fun, welcoming experience Baskin-Robbins is known for.
What You'll Do
- Assist in leading the day-to-day operations of the Baskin-Robbins store.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring every visit is a great experience.
- Scoop ice cream and prepare cones, cups, sundaes, milkshakes, smoothies, and other frozen treats according to Baskin-Robbins standards.
- Build and decorate ice cream cakes for in-store display and custom orders.
- Create custom cake designs using frosting, icing, chocolate decorations, edible images, writing, and other decorative techniques.
- Consult with guests on custom cake orders and help bring their ideas to life.
- Operate the cash register and accurately process customer transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Restock cake decorating supplies, toppings, cones, cups, and other inventory as needed.
- Help maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards throughout the store.
- Assist with inventory management, product ordering, and minimizing waste.
- Handle cash, deposits, and daily paperwork when supervising shifts.
- Train and support team members while creating a fun, positive work environment.
- Help drive sales through excellent customer service, merchandising, and product recommendations.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in retail, food service, or hospitality is preferred.
- Experience decorating cakes, ice cream cakes, or similar desserts is highly preferred. Artistic ability is a big plus. (willing to train)
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and cash handling skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a refrigerated environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
