We are seeking a talented and motivated Hairstylist/Cosmetologist to join our well-established salon as an independent contractor. With over 23 years of experience in the community, our salon boasts a strong social media presence and a steady influx of new clients eager to book appointments. This role offers a unique opportunity for a stylist with availability, as most of our current team members are already booked. The stylist will operate as a rental professional, providing high-quality hair and beauty services in a vibrant and supportive environment.
Duties
- Provide professional hairstyling and cosmetology services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments tailored to client needs.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work station and tools.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery.
- Promote salon services through active participation in our social media platforms to attract new clients.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Operate as an independent contractor, managing your own bookings and client interactions within the salon space.
- Collaborate with other stylists and staff to uphold the salon’s reputation for excellence.
Skills
- Valid cosmetology license or certification in accordance with state requirements.
- Proven experience in hairstyling and cosmetology services.
- Strong communication skills to effectively consult with clients and promote services.
- Ability to work independently as an rental stylist while maintaining professionalism within the salon environment.
