OverviewJoin our dynamic manufacturing team as a Metal Finisher and become a vital part of transforming raw metal components into precision-engineered luxury outdoor, stainless steel products. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in fabrication and finishing techniques to ensure each component meets strict quality standards and specifications. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will help us deliver the finest outdoor kitchen products to our clients, to create the ultimate experience in outdoor cooking. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:
- Finish stainless parts using the proper tools to ensure a seamless and high-quality appearance using grinders, sanders, buffers and electro-polisher.
- Read detailed blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications for fabrication, assembly, and quality control purposes.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or deviations from specifications; document findings accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Proven factory or manufacturing experience working with metal fabrication, machining, or finishing processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with grinders, polishers, and/or buffing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of written instructions.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints from engineering.
- Ability to use precision measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers accurately. Ability to work with pneumatic and battery powered tools.
- Prior exposure to quality control procedures within a manufacturing facility is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly or finishing tasks; experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks enhances your ability to interpret technical drawings effectively.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, must be able to ben, twist and reach. Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination, to include the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts that can be very small, at times.
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
