Overview
Namiko Studio Cafe is looking for a part-time Japanese Soufflé Pancake Chef to join our team in Los Angeles.
We are seeking someone with strong kitchen experience who can confidently prepare Japanese-style soufflé pancakes with consistency, attention to detail, and beautiful presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Japanese soufflé pancakes to Namiko’s quality and presentation standards
- Follow recipes and maintain consistency in texture, taste, portioning, and plating
- Prepare and organize ingredients before service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Follow proper food safety and handling procedures
- Work efficiently during café service and communicate with the rest of the team
- Assist with related kitchen prep and duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience preparing Japanese soufflé pancakes strongly preferred
- Previous restaurant, café, bakery, pastry, or professional kitchen experience
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Passion for food quality and presentation
Job Type: Part-timePay: $20–$22 per hour
