Dietary Aide/Cook

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and special diets.
- Assist with food prep, cooking, portioning, and meal service.
- Keep the kitchen, equipment, and dining areas clean and sanitized.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Stock supplies and rotate inventory as needed.
- Work with the dietary team to provide an excellent dining experience for residents.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen, healthcare, nursing home, assisted living, or food service setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable using commercial kitchen equipment.
- Compassionate, dependable, and a team player.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
