Position Overview
Position: CT Technologist
Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT)
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Assignment Length: 10 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Schedule: 5 x 8-hour shifts
Every third weekend required
May be required to cover one weekend of on-call during the assignment
Overtime available as needed
Holiday coverage may be required
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Minimum 2 years of CT experience using Siemens equipment
Active New Jersey DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
Current ARRT Registered Technologist (R.T.(R)) certification
ARRT CT certification preferred
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, CT positioning, and CT imaging protocols
Experience with PACS systems
EPIC and/or HIS/RIS experience preferred
Ability to perform venipuncture, administer contrast, and monitor patients during CT procedures
Strong patient care, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., push/pull up to 50 lbs., and stand for extended periods
