Job description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse – Hospice
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 4pm to 8am (3 shifts/week)
Hours: 48 Hours per Week
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to hospice patients in accordance with established care plans
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient condition and document changes accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and families regarding disease process, symptom management, and end-of-life care
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
- Minimum 1–2 years of hospice or related clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- BLS certification required
Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
