Job Summary
Campus Grounds is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Café Barista / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers, preparing quality beverages, handling orders and payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other café beverages
- Operate the POS system and process payments accurately
- Maintain clean and organized counters, tables, and workstations
- Restock ingredients, beverages, cups, and café supplies
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Answer customer questions about menu items
- Ensure orders are accurate and served promptly
- Assist coworkers during busy service periods
Qualifications
- Previous barista, cashier, café, or customer service experience preferred
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working as part of a team
