The Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of work crews on active job sites or within production facilities. Acting as the primary on-site liaison between field personnel, management, customers, and subcontractors, the Foreman ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications and production goals. This role plays a critical part in maintaining jobsite organization, enforcing safety protocols, managing material deliveries and schedules, and upholding quality standards. The Foreman is accountable for ensuring timely task completion, clear communication across all project stakeholders, and strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Preconstruction & Planning

Set up and lead preconstruction meetings for plan and design review.

Review and understand job scopes, customer selections, and specifications.

Conduct preconstruction jobsite checks to prepare for material deliveries and framing starts.
Jobsite Coordination

Create and manage jobsite delivery schedules, including dates and load quantities.

Coordinate and oversee all site deliveries, verifying material quantities and accuracy.

Manage the site schedule in coordination with the customer and internal teams.

Oversee and ensure jobsite safety, progress, cleanliness, and quality control.

Perform comprehensive frame checks for architecture, structural integrity, selections, trade work, and overall quality.

Maintain proper documentation and execution of jobsite work orders, ensuring subcontractor signatures when required.
Subcontractor & Equipment Oversight

Monitor subcontractor performance and manage safety checklist compliance.

Manage and coordinate all rental equipment needs per jobsite.

Review and approve draw releases to facilitate timely subcontractor payments.
Communication & Customer Relations

Maintain consistent daily communication with site superintendents or customer points of contact.

Collaborate closely with the jobsite salesman to align project expectations and updates.

Communicate necessary design adjustments to in-house designers or external partners as needed.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in construction or a related field preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of construction experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.

Strong understanding of framing, construction materials, processes, and scheduling.

Proven ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety practices.

Proficiency with scheduling tools, digital communication, and jobsite documentation processes.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and around construction equipment.

Must be able to safely navigate active construction sites and use PPE.
Work Schedule:

Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional weekend work depending on project timelines.
