Fiber Installation Technician
Elite Cutover Connections, Inc. is a telecommunications contractor supporting broadband deployments across the United States. We are seeking motivated Fiber Installation Technicians to support residential fiber internet installations throughout the northern Wisconsin service area.
Our technicians are the face of our company, responsible for in-home fiber installations, troubleshooting services, and providing exceptional customer service.
Company-provided housing is available for technicians who reside two or more hours from the project area.
What You'll Do
- Travel to customer locations throughout the project service area
- Install, disconnect, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber internet, VoIP phone, and cable TV services
- Perform in-home service installations and ensure all services are functioning properly
- Educate customers on the use of their new services and equipment
- Use hand tools, test equipment, and company technology to complete assigned work
- Safely operate a company vehicle and maintain a professional appearance
- Complete required job documentation accurately and on time
- Keep tools, equipment, and vehicles clean, organized, and ready for daily operations
What We're Looking For
- Fiber installation, FTTH (Fiber to the Home), broadband, telecommunications, cable, satellite, low-voltage, or field service experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, punctual, and professional
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work from ladders up to 25 feet
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong attention to detail and job documentation
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
