Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and spiritually grounded Hospice Chaplain to join our care team. In this role, you will provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and families during the final stages of life. This is a unique opportunity to walk beside individuals at one of life’s most meaningful moments—offering peace, dignity, and connection through presence, prayer, and personalized spiritual care.
Schedule
· Part-Time
· In field/ at home visits
Key Responsibilities
- Offer spiritual care, emotional support, and a calming presence to patients and their loved ones—wherever they call home
- Respectfully support all belief systems, faiths, and cultural backgrounds
- Listen deeply, pray (if invited), offer comfort, and provide grief support
- Lead or coordinate services when requested
- Collaborate with the hospice care team to provide truly holistic care
- Document visits and spiritual assessments as part of the care plan

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in theology, divinity, pastoral studies, or a related field (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience in chaplaincy, hospice, hospital ministry, or related pastoral care (preferred, but not required)
- Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) units (1 or more preferred, especially for hospital-based or accredited hospice settings)
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for home visits or facility travel)
