Moises Bakery Hallandale in Hallandale Beach, FL is looking for one bistro cook to join our 22 people strong team. We are located at 115 E Hallandale Beach Blvd Moises Bakery. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable.
Responsibilities

Prepare all dishes according to menu specifications assuring consistency in flavor and presentation using knowledge of correct temperatures
- Take shift in assigned stations (fryer, grill, hot, cold, or oven) according to schedule
- Fulfill production list establish for the week
- Prepare all orders turned in by staff, ensuring that cooked in a timely manner
- Maintain good manufacturing practices at all times, following food safety rules and protection manager instruction
- Manage stock count
- Ensure that all food is stored in proper containers and at proper storage and holding temperatures
- Have ready fillings needed by production staff, and restock for the next shift and for the following day as required and directed by Supervisor
- If functioning in a lead capacity: (a) take responsibility for assigned employees in absence of Supervisor, (b) assigns work and ensures proper performance of assigned employees.
Qualifications

Knowledge or previous experience baking or frying is desirable
- minimum of 2 years experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Culinary certification or demonstrable experience is required
- Food handler certification is required within the first 15 days, Food protection manager is a plus.
