Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing fast-moving case coordination? We are seeking a proactive Lien Specialist to support personal injury patients throughout their treatment journey while coordinating with attorneys, providers, and billing teams.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex workflows with accuracy and accountability.
As a Lien Specialist, you will manage the full lifecycle of personal injury lien cases — from referral intake and scheduling through settlement tracking and lien closure documentation. You will serve as a key point of coordination between patients, attorneys, providers, and internal departments to ensure cases move efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinate personal injury referrals from intake through settlement closure

Obtain attorney confirmations and completed lien agreements before treatment

Request and track policy limits, liability status, and UM/UIM information

Manage appointment confirmations, reschedules, and no-show workflows

Maintain accurate documentation within ECW and CRM systems

Support provider note locking and billing packet preparation

Send billing updates and documentation to attorneys

Track settlement timelines and assist with payment follow-up

Maintain HIPAA-compliant communication and records

Support workflow tracking, reporting, and audits
Successful candidates are:

Accountable and dependable in managing case responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
-
1–3 years of experience in one of the following:
- Medical liens
-
Personal injury coordination
-
Medical billing
-
Legal administrative support
- Strong coordination and documentation skills
- Experience using ECW or similar EMR systems

CRM workflow experience
-
Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 basics

Knowledge of personal injury terminology including policy limits, liability, and UM/UIM

Bilingual Spanish
- Full-time onsite role (Monday–Friday)

Clinical office setting

Occasional coordination outside standard business hours

Possible local travel for attorney liaison coordination
