CLINICAL MANAGER
MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES:
1. Be well versed and able to perform all job functions of those employees that report directly to you.
2. Overall management of patient care services
3. Quality of nursing staff including assisting Practice Administrator with hiring, annual evaluations, disciplinary actions and/or terminations.
4. Daily assignment of staffing personnel
5. Overseeing all administrative nursing functions included but not limited to current staff licenses, CEU hours, OSHA training, annual CLIA inspections, CPR training, employee health maintenance files.
6. Ability to compile/analyze clinical department data.
7. Assist providers with all additional clinical services not handled by their primary assistant including but not limited to genetic testing, prenatal testing, iron infusion, weight loss medications.
8. Overseeing the ordering of all medical supplies.
9. Organizing of clinical staff meeting and work with Practice Administrator on agenda items.
10. Assist staff with patients that need additional assistance or grievances.
11. Maintain good communication with administrative staff throughout the day to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
12. Shows respect, courtesy and advocacy in all dealings with all people, including, but not limited to patients, coworkers, and visitors.
13. Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner
14. Use all electronic and computerized resources to provide timely and accurate patient care.
15. Operate telephone system, facsimile machine, copier and other office equipment as needed.
16. Cooperate in departmental cross training.
17. Attend meetings as required
18. Maintain information in a confidential manner and complies with state, federal, and practice guideline.
19. Others duties as assigned by provider or Practice Administrator

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
2. Minimum of 5 years in OBGYN / Women’s Health
3. Knowledge of medical terminology.
4. Knowledge of business office procedures.
5. Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation to process patient information.
6. Must demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, fellow employees and the public.
7. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with multi-cultural and multi-aged populations.
8. Skill in greeting patients and answering the phone in a pleasant, clear and helpful manner.
9. Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
10. Positive attitude, maturity, professionalism, dedication, flexibility, customer service skills required.
11. Skill in operating a computer and other office equipment.
12. Ability to adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
13. Ability to exercise skills in the area of initiative, problem solving, decision-making and multi-tasking.
14. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently with little direction.
15. Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care.
16. Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional clinical care to provide ongoing patient care.
17. Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedure to administer patient care.
18. Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
19. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions.
20. Ability to maintain quality control standards (results tracking and lab controls).
21. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
