Field Technician to service dock equipment, overhead doors, and fire doors.
2+ years of experience is preferred but not necessary.
The applicant should have a good selection of tools,
Valid driver’s license
Must Pass a drug screen/Background Check
Have the ability to complete paperwork and timecards on a daily basis.
Job responsibilities include maintenance and installation of loading dock equipment and overhead doors; including troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics, motors, overhead doors, levelers, vehicle restraints, etc.
Electrical experience in reading voltages, diagnosing electrical components, and tracing wires is a plus as is welding experience.
Technicians safely travel to the customer's location, locate the equipment requiring service, diagnose the problem with the equipment, communicate with the customer both verbally and in writing to explain the needed repairs, get approval on repair work and proceed accordingly with the repairs. #LP123
