Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake machine to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to precise specifications.
Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machine to bend metal workpieces
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the appropriate bends and dimensions
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Make adjustments to the machine settings as needed for different jobs
- Work with various tools including calipers, precision measuring instruments, and tooling
- Program machines for efficient production
- Conduct basic maintenance on equipment
Experience:
- At least 2 years proven experience as a Press Brake Operator
- Proficiency in operating a press brake machine
- Familiarity with crane operation for material handling
- Ability to perform quality inspections on finished products
- Experience with welding is beneficial but not required
- Familiarity with forklift operation is required
