Our busy, multicultural general dental practice is looking for a friendly, caring, and experienced Dental Assistant to join our amazing team!
MUST BE A CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT
Responsibilities
- We're seeking someone who is:
- Experienced in general dentistry
- Proficient with Dentrix
- Skilled at making temporary crowns
- Comfortable with digital scanning
- Compassionate, patient, and professional
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Haitian creole speaking is a plus!
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with proficiency in chairside assisting across general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, dental equipment operation.
- Familiarity with Dentrix for scheduling.
- Insurance verification.
- Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures accurately while maintaining safety standards for patients and staff.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols including dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
