We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to assume the role of Assistant Community Manager at our brand new luxury apartment community in Lumberton, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer skills, and will be responsible for assisting the Community Manager with day to day operations, to include renewals, collections, and leasing.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage bookkeeping responsibilities and reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Handle and resolve resident issues in a professional manner
- Assist Community Manager in supervising, training, and development of the leasing staff
- Work with maintenance staff to coordinate apartment turnovers, move-ins and move-outs, work order requests, and obtaining certificates of occupancy
- Plan and oversee resident events
- Work diligently to maintain a high level of resident satisfaction
- Assist leasing team, conduct prospect tours, correctly complete lease applications, assist residents with move-in and move-out process
Qualifications:
- Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, enthusiastic and professional attitude, and proven performance in the property management field, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Excellent customer service, marketing, and sales skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated bookkeeping skills and with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Must follow State and Federal Fair Housing laws
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
