Responsible for the movement and management of all materials to support production needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials, components, and finished products safely and efficiently.
- Supply raw materials to the HP C500 production lines as scheduled to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
- Manage the storage, movement, and organization of all materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Assist with the preparation of finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, wrapping, banding, and securing products according to shipping requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized inventory of all raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to ensure availability and traceability.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Process and document inventory transfers between facilities and departments as required.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform all shipping and receiving functions; serve as the primary contact for shipping operations in the absence of the Shipping Manager.
- Monitor and meet established shift objectives, including deadlines for loading, unloading, and inventory transactions.
- Adhere to all quality standards, ensuring materials are handled and stored in compliance with company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist in other warehouse and production support tasks as needed or directed.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelors Level of Degree preferred
- Equivalent work-related experience acceptable in lieu of degree
- At least 2 years prior manufacturing experience
Skills/Knowledge
- Computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment
- Strong organizational and communication skill
- Ability to multitask and work in a face paced environment with minimal errors
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
