Orthodontic Assistant (Experienced)
Once you work somewhere with:
- a genuinely supportive team,
- patients who actually like coming in,
- an office dog who thinks she runs the place,
- and a 4-day work week…
…it’s hard to go back.
We’re not looking for “just another assistant.”
We’re looking for someone experienced, upbeat, and ready to jump into a fast-moving orthodontic office where teamwork matters, laughter is normal, and no one survives on chaos alone.
Who We Are:
We’re a modern orthodontic office with locations in Longmont and Erie, and yes—travel between both offices is required.
Our days are busy, our standards are high, and our team genuinely enjoys working together. Patients know us for our energy, personality, and the fact that even getting braces somehow becomes fun here.
Also important:
We have an office dog who fully believes she is management. She loves our patients, expects daily compliments, and occasionally supervises appointments from a suspiciously comfortable dog bed.
What You’ll Actually Do
AKA: Be the reason the day runs smoothly.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with braces placement, adjustments, debonds, and orthodontic procedures
- Taking digital X-rays, photos, and 3D scans like the clinical wizard you are
- Keeping rooms sterile, stocked, and organized (because hunting for wire during a procedure builds character, but we’d rather avoid it)
- Educating patients on braces care and helping prevent “I ate popcorn 12 minutes after my appointment” situations
- Accurate charting and maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Working with Dolphin software and digital systems
- Helping maintain inventory and clinical flow
- Supporting the doctor and team throughout the day so everyone stays productive—not panic sprinting
What We’re Looking For
You’re probably a great fit if:
- You have at least 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience
- You can talk comfortably with kids, teens, parents, and nervous patients
- You multitask well without short-circuiting
- You bring positive energy into a room
- You can stay organized even when the schedule gets busy
- You’re comfortable traveling between our Longmont and Erie offices
Bonus Points If You:
- Know 3D scanners or 3D printing
- know or used Light Force Brackets system
- Have said “wear your rubber bands” so many times it’s basically your personal catchphrase
Why People Stay Here:

- A team that actually helps each other

This Job Is Perfect For Someone Who:
- Likes being productive and staying busy
- Wants to enjoy the people they work with
- Cares about patients beyond “next room.”
- Wants to be part of a strong team culture—not just clock in and out
Probably Not Your Thing If:
- You dislike teamwork
