Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of commercial or residential properties. This role involves managing facilities, supervising maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of property condition and tenant satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and coordination of facilities maintenance teams, ensuring timely repairs and preventative maintenance
- Supervise the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC units, low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and industrial maintenance procedures.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and local codes; conduct regular safety audits and enforce safety protocols among staff.
- Manage facilities projects from planning through execution, including upgrades to mechanical systems or infrastructure improvements; coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system schematics, troubleshooting reports, and safety documentation.
Requirements
- 2+ years property management experience
- AppFolio or Yardi experience storngly preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining a focus on safety regulations and operational excellence.
- Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting, team coordination, and vendor interactions.
