Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise staff members to ensure high standards of assisted living, memory care, and dementia care are consistently met.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s unique needs, including Alzheimer’s and other cognitive impairments.
- Oversee medication administration processes to guarantee safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Manage daily operations including staffing schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize service delivery.
- Foster positive relationships with residents’ families, providing updates on care progress and addressing concerns proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities.
- Promote a safe, engaging environment by organizing activities that enhance residents’ quality of life and social well-being.
Requirements
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management with a strong background in senior care services.
- Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a group home or retirement home setting.
- Familiarity with creating and managing care plans, medication administration protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and operational management within home & community care environments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Relevant certifications in nursing, social work or healthcare management are preferred; long-term care experience is highly valued.
