Duties
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting to ensure smooth and durable surfaces.
- Support rebar installation and concrete formwork construction according to blueprint specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete pumping equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to follow project requirements accurately.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, including moving materials and equipment around the site while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support the installation of stucco, caulking, plastering, and other exterior finishes as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment by following safety regulations and site procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade is highly preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans with precision.
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols is essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and other construction equipment.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, long hours on-site, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail in executing tasks such as rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring/finishing, and caulking.
