Catering Cook —The Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park & Robert Fair Caterers | Exton, PA | Ambler, Pa
This Isn't Just a Cook Job. It's a Craft.
At Robert Fair Caterers, food has been our family's life's work for five generations. We don't make banquet food — we create experiences. Our menus draw on seasonal ingredients, time-tested technique, and genuine culinary inspiration to deliver moments that guests remember long after the last plate is cleared. If you take pride in what comes out of your kitchen, you'll feel at home here.
We're looking for a Catering Cook who wants to be part of something that matters — someone who sees a plated dish not just as an item on a checklist, but as a contribution to one of the most important days in a client's life.
What You'll Be Part Of
Off-premise catering is unlike any other kitchen environment. Every event is its own world. You're not cooking the same menu five nights a week — you're working from thoughtfully crafted menus that change with the seasons, inspired by fresh produce, bold flavors, and the stories behind each event. Our work travels with us to The Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park and other stunning venues across the region, where real people celebrate real moments: weddings, milestones, gatherings that matter.
You'll have the opportunity to contribute your skills to menus built around quality and creativity — and to see the direct impact your work has on the guest experience.
What You'll Do
- Cook and prep from event-specific menus that keep things fresh and interesting
- Load and organize catering trucks with care — presentation starts before we leave the kitchen
- Drive product and equipment to event locations
- Wash, maintain, and care for kitchen equipment
- Work alongside a close-knit team that takes hospitality seriously
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional kitchen or catering experience
- Current ServSafe certification — required
- A valid Pennsylvania driver's license — you'll be driving our trucks, and this role isn't accessible by public transit, so reliable personal transportation is required
- The ability to handle the physical demands of loading, unloading, and working a full event shift
- Someone who takes ownership — of their station, their product, and the guest experience
The Details
- Seasonal position with shifts aligned to our event calendar
- Starting at $18/hour — overtime opportunities available
- Background check required
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
