About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will help customers find the right vehicle to fit their needs while delivering an exceptional buying experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers in a professional and courteous manner to understand their vehicle needs
- Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle features and benefits
- Provide clear information on pricing, options, financing, and available incentives
- Guide customers through the purchasing process from initial contact to delivery
- Follow up with prospective customers to build relationships and close sales
- Collaborate with the sales and management teams to meet and exceed sales goals
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory, promotions, and industry trends
Qualifications & Skills
- Sales Experience: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals (automotive sales experience preferred)
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer Service: Strong ability to build rapport and provide an outstanding customer experience
- Negotiation Skills: Confidence in presenting numbers and negotiating terms
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Math Skills: Comfort with pricing, financing figures, and basic financial calculations
- Marketing Awareness: Understanding of how to present and promote products effectively
- Bilingual or Multilingual Preferred: Ability to speak additional languages is a strong plus to better serve our diverse customer community
Schedule
- 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
- Weekend availability required
