Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings while ensuring work complies with all relevant codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, control systems, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical code specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Install and service lighting systems, power distribution systems, and electrical panels.
- Perform electrical inspections and ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other trades, contractors, and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
- Valid state-issued Journeyman Electrician license.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Proficient in using electrical tools, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
