Grade 8 Step 1 with a starting hourly rate of $21.60. Potential future earnings for this position on the ESP Salary Scale are $21.60 - $39.08. Additional steps will only be considered for PreK-12 teaching experience under state-issued professional licensure.
7 hours/Day, 10-Month Work Year, with additional summer program opportunities

The Paraprofessional Family Service Liaison - Judy Center is responsible for case management, coordination of services and communication with caregivers of young children, tracking progress of services or referrals for caregivers and/or children identified in the Judy Center catchment area. This role also collaborates in planning outreach, parent-child events, and family engagement activities. Additionally, the Judy Center Family Service Liaison supports and assists caregivers of young children in gaining access to services and monitors progress.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma/GED.
Must meet Highly Qualified status (AA degree, 48 credit hours, or have successfully passed the Paraprofessional Praxis test).
Excellent organizational and record maintenance skills.
Ability to effectively manage coordinating services and collaborating with multiple agencies and service providers.
Ability to establish and maintain trusting relationships with colleagues and families.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and community partners, all stakeholders.
Knowledge of current technology to include critical programs, databases, office equipment and software including Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential records and prepare reports.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Preferred Qualifications
AA Degree in Education or related field.
Minimum two (2) years successful experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Knowledge of or ability to learn the Judith P. Hoyer Enhancement and Early Education Grant Component Standards.
Role Responsibilities
Coordinates, facilitates and/or attends service coordination meetings among partners.
Coordinate services, home visits and provides support to ensure families are able to access services.
Ensures high visibility, accessibility and investment, on-site daily.
Develops strategies for increasing program visibility and expansion, including recruitment of families and new family service partners.
Collaborates with the Judy Center staff and partners for outreach activities.
Tracks home visits and family contacts, maintains written case management reports for the Judy Center evaluation purposes.
Assists with developing, planning and facilitating various parent and family engagement activities and events.
Attends and actively participates in regularly scheduled meetings of the Judy Center and partnering agencies and organizations.
Attends statewide Judy Center meetings and mandatory in-service training and staff development opportunities.
Assists with needs assessments and satisfaction surveys.
Demonstrate courteous and professional demeanor to all stakeholders of Washington County Public Schools.
