Purpose:
Responsible for general duties on primarily a corn and soybean farm. Also have a small cow/calf herd and an excavator used for farm maintenance and improvements.
Looking for an individual who is capable of: operating large modern farm equipment that includes current farm technology systems, assisting with livestock duties, must be able to work as a team but self-motivation is highly important, in off season must be able to perform shop tasks or willing to learn.
Education and Experience:
Seeking qualified candidate with previous farm experience. Willing to train in specific areas as needed with a willingness to work hard and be part of a team. Must have a current drivers license. Class A CDL is preferred but not required.
Tasks:
- Drive semi’s, tractors, and other equipment to plant, spray, harvest, and field work on row crops from March through December.
- Assist with baling hay.
- Haul grain to terminals.
- Perform routine maintenance and care of all equipment.
- Assist with pasture and farm maintenance.
- Assist with building fence.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
