Responsibilities Include:

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on material handling equipment (MHE), conveyor systems, stretch wrappers, and case sealers.

Perform predictive maintenance tasks on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical equipment using tools such as ultrasound, infrared laser thermometer, and multimeter.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and dock equipment.

Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize operational downtime.

Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager on complex equipment repairs, vendor support, facility projects, and major maintenance activities.

Complete basic carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and minor construction projects as needed.

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, preventative maintenance records, and repair documentation.

Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance work areas in a safe, organized, and operational condition.

Assist with parts inventory management and notify the Maintenance Manager of material, supply, or replacement part needs.

Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in compliance with company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Work collaboratively with Operations, Safety, IT, vendors, and management to support facility and equipment needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Three years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, assembly prints, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.

Prior experience working with electrical wiring, motor controls, sensors, actuators, VFDs, conveyance, and case sealers.

Skilled in diagnosing equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes, and performing effective repairs or component replacements.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and work from elevated surfaces for extended periods.

Strong commitment to safety, documentation accuracy, and adherence to maintenance procedures, schedules, and regulatory requirements.
