Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Cay, IL, 60013
Duration 3 - 4 months with extension and conversion possibility
A Shift: 6:45am to 7pm (Sun, Mon, Tue, alt. Wed.), Pay Rate: $18.50
C Shift: 6:45pm to 7am (Sun, Mon, Tue, alt. Sat.), Pay Rate: $20
D Shift: 6:45pm to 7am (Thurs., Fri, Sat alt. Wed), Pay Rate: $20
Job Description:
- Orders component parts through computer entry
- Delivers component parts to work stations by hand and using a hand truck and/or pallet jack
- Moves cartons of assembled product from work stations by hand and using a hand truck and/or pallet jack
- Verifies correctness of components through visual inspection and reading box labels
- Fills machine hoppers at various heights
- Performs record keeping duties; weighs scrap and records data
- Performs traceability and lot control functions utilizing a hand held scanner
- Performs housekeeping duties in the production area.
