Duties
- Install AV systems including video conferencing setups, audio equipment, control systems, and cabling infrastructure according to schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and AV system diagrams to ensure precise installation and integration
- Troubleshoot equipment issues related to audio, video, control systems, and computer networking to restore optimal functionality quickly
- Configure and operate digital signal processing devices, AV control systems, and software troubleshooting to customize solutions for client needs
- Conduct routine maintenance on installed systems to ensure long-term performance and reliability
- Assist with live event AV production projects by setting up equipment, managing cabling, and ensuring smooth operation during events
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical support during installation, and deliver excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the AV industry with a strong understanding of audiovisual system installation and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics related to AV systems
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring, cabling techniques, telecommunication standards, and electrical experience necessary for safe installations
- Familiarity with control system programming (AV systems), digital signal processing, video conferencing systems operation, and software troubleshooting
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in field service environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment mounting, rack setup, and structural support for AV hardware
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and client satisfaction

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
