Job Overview
As an Order Specialist at PromoCharger, you will play a key role in order management. This includes handling order entry, workflows, status updates, purchase order (PO) assignments, and following up on incomplete orders within our centralized platform. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused, with a strong commitment to maintaining close relationships with our existing clients. You’ll ensure order details are accurate and that all processes run smoothly, contributing directly to our high standards of Quality, Speed, and Service.
This is a full-time position based in Houston, Texas, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the order mailbox, prioritizing and responding to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Accurately assign, enter, and approve orders in our centralized system with strong attention to detail and efficiency.
- Update order workflows and track progress from initiation through to completion.
- Proactively contact customers via email or phone regarding incomplete orders to ensure timely resolution.
- Review order workflows daily to consistently track and follow up on each individual order until successful delivery.
- Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by providing timely status updates, proactively resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree is required.
- 1-5 years of experience in data entry or order , management (open to recent graduates with a commitment to long-term growth in the role for 3-5 years).
- Detail-oriented. Sensetive to details
- Data entry experience preferred.
- Experience in promotional products or custom product industries is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to verify and approve order specifics accurately.
- Customer service orientation: Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships, anticipate needs, respond quickly and empathetically to requests, and continuously seek ways to improve service while honoring commitments.
- Capacity to handle high-volume orders efficiently.
