Job Description:
We are looking for an organized and dependable Picker/Packer Lead to support our second shift shipping operations. This position combines hands-on warehouse work with shipping coordination and dispatch responsibilities. The Picker/Packer Lead will coordinate the daily LTL workload, prepare shipping documents, communicate with freight carriers, and help ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable using computers, and enjoys working in a fast paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
LTL Fulfillment
- Print and organize packing slips for the LTL picker/packer team.
- Coordinate the daily workload to ensure orders are completed on schedule.
- Assist with picking and packing customer orders as needed.
- Verify orders are packed accurately and meet quality standards before shipping.
- Help keep the LTL shipping area clean and organized.
Shipping & Dispatch
- Schedule freight pickups with LTL carriers.
- Print shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required shipping paperwork.
- Prepare shipping documentation for outgoing orders.
- Communicate with carriers regarding pickups, delays, shortages, or other shipping issues.
- Monitor shipments and help resolve transportation issues as they arise.
- Enter shipping information accurately into company software.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) required
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous warehouse, shipping, logistics, dispatch, or freight experience is preferred
Pay: $22.00 - $23.50 per hour
