Balloon Museum returns to Miami: Following the remarkable success of our exhibitions in cities such as Rome, Paris, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago, we are excited to bring our unique experience back to Miami once again.
We are looking for a candidate to join our team in the role of Technician.
We are seeking candidates with prior experience in technical production—preferably within the events, exhibitions, or live entertainment sector—who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute in a dynamic environment.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain audio, lighting, and video equipment throughout the exhibition
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical systems to ensure smooth daily operations
- Collaborate with the production and operations teams to ensure all technical elements run efficiently
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of all technical systems
- Assist in resolving any on-site technical issues quickly and effectively
Requirements:
- Previous experience in audio, lighting, and video systems (events or exhibitions preferred)
- Basic knowledge of technical equipment and troubleshooting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliability and strong sense of responsibility
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Team player with good communication skills
The museum will open on May 16th and remain open until September 27th.
Pay Rate: $20.00 gross per hour.

Weekend availability is highly preferred for this position.
