Job Description
Lightning Press is an established family owned digital book printing company in Northern New Jersey seeking a Digital Press person needed to operate Konica Minolta Commercial Color and Black & White Sheet-fed Printers. Primary job function include multiple machine operations, routine maintenance and uptime management, color calibration, work order scheduling, digital file prepping, supply ordering, etc.
Qualifications
Digital Press/Copier experience necessary.
Applicant must have a friendly outgoing positive personality, like working with people, and be comfortable in a busy production book printing environment with the ability to problem-solve and multi-task while remaining composed and organized.
Skills Needed
Digital Press operator experience necessary.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Production oriented, quality consciousness and reliability is a must.
Detail inclined and precision is necessary.
Computer and file handling knowledge.
Must be self-motivated.
English speaking and writing with good communication skills is essential.
Quality consciousness and reliability is a must.
Some heavy lifting required of 50+ lbs paper boxes.
Full Time 8:30 am - 5:00 pm M-F plus occasional overtime.
