About Our Family
We're a busy family of four; between two children and two working parents, our life is full and in need of a steady, capable hand to keep things running smoothly.
Our home is a warm and welcoming space. Our two children are independent and will normally be gone at school and extracurriculars, but our lovable dog is home (though usually napping). We have invested in many systems to help our home run efficiently and effectively and we need someone to take what we've built and own them.
We work from home regularly, so you'll share the space with us most days. We genuinely want you to feel comfortable, welcome, and a part of our household rhythm. We will aim to greet you at the beginning of each shift to align on priorities and make sure you have everything you need to be successful.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You're a self-starter who walks into a home, takes a quick read of the room, and gets to work without needing to be directed at every turn. You're organized, efficient, and genuinely energized by a productive day with a full list of checkmarks. You thrive on variety and feel right at home bouncing between laundry, meal prep, a grocery run, and a quick errand without losing your stride.
Your top priorities in this role will be managing approximately 4 loads of laundry per week, building and executing grocery lists, preparing 2 family-friendly dinners per week, transporting two children to extracurriculars approximately one time per week, handling light local errands, and keeping the home organized and reset between biweekly cleanings. These aren't just tasks you complete; they're systems you own and people you care for. You take the mental load off a busy household and make things run more smoothly just by showing up.
You're a confident communicator who asks good questions, flags things before they become issues, and welcomes kind, constructive feedback. You're warm and positive, you enjoy being in a home environment where people actually live, and you have the situational awareness to know when to chat and when to focus. You're looking for a steady, long-term part-time role, not a temporary stop on the way to something else. You take real ownership, build systems, and leave every shift having made a genuine difference.
