About the Practice
Hearing & Balance Specialists of Kansas City is a clinician-owned audiology and vestibular practice with three locations across the KC metro. This isn't a corporate chain. The doctors who built this practice are the ones treating patients, and that independence is the foundation of everything else, including how the practice shows up in the community and online.
The brand is specific, grounded, and human. We're looking for a Marketing Manager who can carry that voice across every channel and every touchpoint, and who is ready to lead.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created, full-time leadership role overseeing marketing for three H&B KC locations. You'll be the primary point of contact for our external marketing partners, the internal driver of our content and campaigns, and the person who makes sure our brand shows up consistently everywhere patients and providers encounter it.
You'll have real ownership here. This isn't a role where you're waiting for direction. We need someone who sees what needs to happen and makes it happen.
What You'll Be Doing
Agency & Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our SEO, website, and paid advertising partners
- Keep campaigns, timelines, and deliverables on track across all external partners
- Bring strategic recommendations back to leadership, not just status updates
Design & Content
- Create polished, on-brand content for social media, print materials, and internal communications
- Capture photo and video content in-office across all three locations, with an eye for composition, lighting, and framing that reflects the brand
- Manage and grow our social media presence across Facebook and Instagram
- Maintain brand consistency across every piece of marketing the practice produces
Email Marketing
- Build a patient email marketing program using our CounselEar system
- Learn the platform independently and work with our doctors to develop a plan for segmented, targeted patient communication
- Partner with outside support as needed to shape strategy, while owning execution
Event Management
- Plan and execute community health events, referring provider relationship events, and internal staff events
- Manage logistics, vendor coordination, and follow-up for all practice events
Internal Marketing Coordination
- Act as the internal hub connecting the doctors, office staff, and external marketing partners
- Keep marketing initiatives aligned with practice priorities and clinical realities
- Bring organization and follow-through to a function that touches every part of the practice
What We're Looking For
We need an organized leader with a marketing mindset. Someone confident in their own judgment, comfortable managing relationships with outside vendors, and capable of teaching themselves new tools and systems without being handed a manual.
Specifically, you have:
- A strong design eye and real skill in tools like Canva (Adobe experience is a plus)
- Hands-on photography and videography skills, including the ability to shoot and edit content on-site that looks professional and polished
- Proven experience managing marketing vendors or agencies
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
- A self-starter mentality. You don't wait to be told what's next
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write in a clear, warm, on-brand voice
- Comfort with ambiguity. You can build something from scratch when the playbook doesn't exist yet
- Healthcare or professional services marketing experience is a strong plus, but not required if everything else is there
