We are seeking a skilled and motivated Collision Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform collision repairs on vehicles including frame straightening, panel replacement, and structural reinforcement using automotive welding equipment and fabrication techniques
- Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair methods to restore vehicle integrity and safety standards
- Conduct auto body repairs such as dent removal, sheet metal work, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repairs to achieve a smooth finish
- Install automotive parts including glass, trim, bumpers, and other components with precision using hand tools and power tools
- Prepare vehicles for refinishing by sanding surfaces, applying primers, and performing auto painting and detailing to ensure a flawless appearance
- Use auto estimating software to assess damage scope and communicate repair plans effectively with customers and team members
- Assist with auto restoration projects by fabricating custom parts and applying advanced repair techniques as needed
- Lift heavy components safely during repairs while maintaining adherence to safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background working as an automotive body technician or collision repair specialist
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment operation
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, structural components, and auto body repair processes
- Experience with auto restoration, auto painting, automotive parts installation, and auto glass replacement
- Skilled in using hand tools such as sanders, power tools, sheet metal tools, and detailing equipment
- Knowledge of automotive cosmetic repair techniques including sanding tools and automotive refinishing methods
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate clearly about repair processes and estimates
- Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus; mechanic experience is highly valued

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
