Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, while adhering to responsible serving policies.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change and totals.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management on special events like catering or banquet functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fast-paced environments such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws; knowledge of alcohol service regulations is essential.
- Demonstrated ability in time management to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Background in retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions.
