Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain clear communication with clients about their treatment goals, progress, and any relevant medical or physiological considerations.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness outside of sessions.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Foster a welcoming environment focused on exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits and positive client relationships.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist
- Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
- Prior experience working in a med spa or medical setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients about their health concerns and treatment options.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and physiologic conditions is preferred.
- Experience providing client-centered care that emphasizes safety, comfort, and professionalism.

Pay: $16.50 - $25.00 per hour
