Tilghman Crane & Transport provides turn-key crane rental and transportation solutions for our customers. We are seeking a candidate with the skills and experience to successfully perform this role daily. Our operators are required to safely and efficiently operate lifts and move heavy loads. Our fleet does include all-terrian (AT) cranes. This role will require you to utilize your skills in performing various other duties including but not limited to transporting and rigging. Responsibilities:
· Inspect and maintain the crane and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues
· Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and operational guidelines
· Lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment using the crane
· Conduct routine inspections on the crane equipment to ensure proper functionality
· Complete the necessary documentation required for each job site
· Communicate with team members to ensure proper coordination and execution of lifting operations
Qualifications:
· Proven experience operating various types of cranes including but not limited to all terrain mobile cranes and rough terrain cranes etc.
· Strong knowledge of crane operation and safety procedures
· Ability to understand and interpret load charts and rigging requirements
· Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
· Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
· May do other duties as needed
· Valid NCCO crane operator certification
· Class A CDL
· Active Med Card
· TWIC
